Well, the holidays are over, but the dogs never seem to stop expecting new toys and snacks. Thankfully, they’re slightly spoiled, so they were pretty pumped to get their new BarkBox delivery this month. For January, the delivery had a hippie theme. Interesting…
Here’s a list of what was inside this month and what the dogs think…
Hard Rock Hound Plush Guitar Toy
Banjo’s thoughts: Two squeakers means this toy makes noise on both ends, that’s perfect for tug-of-war! The back side of the guitar is a heavier-duty canvas-type material and it’s held up pretty well so far. Banjo seems to enjoy the toy and brings it around the house to coerce Babe or her humans to engage in a little playtime!
Hippie Fringe Vest Dog Toy
Banjo’s thoughts: The toy has a nice faux leather feel to it, soft and easy to grab. It has a couple great noise makers, including a crinkling (Banjo loves the crinkly toys!) and a honker that sounds like a goose. She’s already chewed off a few of the tassels and I’m not sure how I feel about that (Were the tassels really necessary?), but she’s still dragging it out of her toy box every week.
American Hound Chicken Jerky
Babe and Banjo’s thoughts: Mom thinks these are stinky treats, but we’ve already finished the whole bag! They’re all-natural and grain-free.
Sojos Beef and Cheddar Treats
Babe and Banjo’s thoughts: They aren’t as stinky as the jerky, so we aren’t as nuts for them, but we will still come running for a bite! And, made in America, yes please!
Beefy Braids
Babe and Banjo’s thoughts: Possibly our favorite item in this month’s delivery, these beef braids are made of 4 twisted pieces of American-made 100% beef chew treats. They’re low fat, so that means guilt-free!
